Occupational Therapy
- Everyday skills — dressing, eating, toileting, sleep routines
- School skills — handwriting, attention, following instructions
- Sensory regulation — helping kids who are "always on the go"
- Social & play skills — taking turns, joining in, friendships
Speech Pathology
- Understanding language — following directions, stories
- Using language — vocabulary, sentences, sharing ideas
- Speech sounds — pronouncing words clearly
- Social communication — conversation, non-verbal cues
If you're not sure whether your child needs OT, Speech, or both, we'll help you work it out in your first appointment.
Kids we commonly work with
We see children from early years through primary school (and some teens), including those who:
- Are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent and need support with daily routines, friendships, or managing sensory input.
- Have developmental delays that affect speech, coordination, or independence.
- Are struggling with school skills — handwriting, reading and spelling foundations, following the classroom routine.
- Find it hard to cope with change, new places, noisy environments or group activities.
- Have diagnoses such as ADHD, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy or learning difficulties — or are still "under investigation".
You don't need a diagnosis to start with Hop & Learn. If something doesn't feel quite right, we're happy to chat.
