    Druvni Perera

Druvni is a dedicated and passionate Speech Therapist who believes that building trust and fostering genuine connections with her clients is the foundation of successful therapy. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered. Druvni celebrates every milestone (no matter how small) recognising that meaningful progress is built step by step. Her warm, client-centred approach ensures that therapy is not only effective, but engaging and enjoyable for the individuals and families she works with. Druvni holds a Bachelor of Biomedicine, an Honours degree in Clinical Research, and a Master of Speech Pathology. She began her journey in the field as a Therapy Assistant while completing her studies, giving her over four years of experience working within the NDIS space. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including community and clinic environments, with a particular passion for working with the paediatric population. She has a strong interest in early intervention and believes that play-based approaches are essential to learning and development. Druvni uses a neuroaffirming lens in her sessions, acknowledging each child's unique communication style. She also has a keen interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), including aided language stimulation and creating individualised visual supports to enhance communication outcomes. Druvni is committed to lifelong learning and continuous professional growth. She has undertaken self-directed learning in family-centred language programs, attended professional seminars focused on AAC, and completed the Sounds-Write Practitioner Program.
